Annapurna Base Camp
About
The Annapurna Himalaya is the world's tenth tallest mountain range, standing at 8,091 meters and 26,545 feet above sea level, with a huge variety of lesser 7,000 meters to below 6,000 meters peaks, including Annapurna I. Annapurna South 7,219 m, Gangapurna 7,455 m, and Annapurna III 7,555 m, with A-II and IV of above 7,000 m, and the ever-present Machapuchare Himal or Fish Tail, which dominates the Annapurna range due to its dual peak top.
Helicopters depart from Pokhara Airport early in the morning. The helicopter departs for Annapurna Base Camp when the airport's departure formalities are completed. The helicopter lands at the South Annapurna Base Camp, where you will be encircled by the 3600 panoramas of the Annapurna Sanctuary, flying parallel to the northern Himalayan range and high above the stunning terrain and ethnic community. The helicopter will make a 15-minute stop at the base camp, allowing you to have your tea/breakfast while taking in the breathtaking views of the Annapurna Mountains. During your break, take in the grandeur of the mountains and catch some with your camera. Following the break, the chopper will return to Pokhara Airport.
