Chitwan

About

Chitwan tour packages are made specifically for Nepalese adventure wildlife lovers who want to experience Chitwan's jungle safari and Tharu culture.

Chitwan National Park is also the country's oldest national park. It covers around 1,000 square kilometers of subtropical lowland jungle. In 1973, Chitwan was designated as a national park. It was recognized as a world-historic site by UNESCO in 1984. It is home to 56 animal species, including endangered one-horned rhinos and royal Bengal tigers, 543 bird species, 126 fish species, 590 butterfly species, and 47 reptile species.

Chitwan National Park is a great place to visit if you want to get a complete sense of Nepal's contrasts. It provides a peek into a totally distinct natural and cultural context than the more commonly seen images of the country.

An elephant back safari, canoe ride, elephant breeding tour, and bird watching are all included in the Chitwan National Park tour from Kathmandu, which lasts two nights and three days. A tour of an ethnic Tharu hamlet with a Tharu cultural program display is included in the package, in addition to jungle activities.

All of these activities on the Chitwan Wildlife Safari Tour will provide you with a good overall image of Chitwan National Park's life and beauty!

The months of March to May, as well as September to December, are ideal for visiting the national park.

The Prithvi Highway connects Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park, Sauraha, for a distance of 164.3 kilometers. It takes about 5 hours drive from Kathmandu.

Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Asia's best and most popular animal viewing sites. Chitwan is famed for its population of exceedingly uncommon One-Horned Rhinos and even more rare Royal Bengal Tigers, but it also has an incredible variety of flora and animals. The Asiatic Elephants, the most famous of Chitwan's species, freely explore the woods. There are more than a dozen buffer zones in Chitwan National Park, which are living museums of well preserved Tharu culture, customs, and traditions. A Tharu cultural performance must be seen in Chitwan. Elephant rides, vehicle safaris, canoeing, bird watching, and trips to Gharial and Elephant breeding centers are all available to visitors. On arrival at Sauraha, Chitwan, you will be transferred to a hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, see a Tharu cultural performance. O/N at Hotel.
In the morning, take a hike to the Rapti River and get in your kayaks. Your professional jungle guide will lead you along the river's edge, giving you plenty of chances to witness migratory birds and the popular Gharial Crocodiles basking in the early sun. Then get to know your elephants, make friends with them, and prepare for your jungle trip. Feel powerful atop the world's most powerful beast. There will be plenty of rhinos, stags, and possibly even Royal Bengal tigers to witness. After that, you'll go on a jeep ride deep into the jungle, where you'll have a better chance of seeing tigers and other rare animals. Experience the rush of excitement in one of the specially customized local automobiles! Also, witness the majority of Chitwan's bird species by driving around the renowned BisHajari (Two Thousand) Lakes. After that, there will be an ox-cart ride. Visit the surrounding Tharu village in your carts drawn by live oxen. Interact with the people by visiting the Tharu Ethnic Museum. Return to the resort by oxcart. O/N at Hotel
